Summary:
Through general research, i have found much supported information to suggest that there is a link between entertainment ( in particular video games) and obesity. With technology growing on a daily basis, it has been proven that people who spend extensive amounts of time at a computer or in front of a playstation have a higher potential to become obese. Research also suggests that once people have become obese, they feel socially awkward and once again turn to entertainment or worse. The government are trying to to resolve this problem by creating awareness programs and developing school canteen guides, however, they aren't attacking the heart of the problem. If they really wanted to resolve the problem, they would try to eliminate all non-active video games and entertainment in general.
